Our specialized team at G.O. Ortho sports medicine includes Dr. Jim Dennison, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty board certification in sports medicine. He has more than 20 years’ experience taking care of injured athletes at multiple levels, including professional, Olympic, collegiate and high-school athletes.
From a surgical standpoint, Dr. Dennison routinely performs some of the most up-to-date arthroscopic procedures and techniques to repair common knee injuries and torn knee ligaments such as ACL reconstructions. In addition, he performs arthroscopic surgery to stabilize athletic shoulders and repair torn rotator cuffs. He has designed and continues to design instrumentation and equipment to help further progress surgical procedures. Currently, he’s working with an international company on equipment for treating shoulder injuries.
