Acute Orthopedic Injuries
For acute orthopedic injuries, no appointment is required at the G.O. Ortho after-hours walk-in clinic located at 4401 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford. It is open Monday through Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. Once you have entered the Middle Settlement Road campus, please proceed to Entrance A and follow the hallway directly down to Suite 102A, the entrance to our office.
Evaluation & Treatment
The receptionist will check you in and, if you already have X-rays or previous studies from an outside facility, please bring them with you and provide them to the receptionist at check-in. Once you are registered, if X-rays are necessary they will be taken in our state-of-the-art digital X-ray suites. We have an experienced orthopedic X-ray technician onsite during clinic hours. Dr. Dennison or one of the orthopedic physician assistants will take a thorough history and perform an orthopedic-specific evaluation of your acute injury. A treatment plan will be established at that initial visit. Two fully equipped cast rooms are available for acute fracture care. Orthopedic durable medical goods such as crutches, slings and braces are available onsite and will be provided as prescribed by the treating physician.
